1. Give It Your Best Shot
Jason Takes Manhatten introduces Julius Gaw as one of the students on the cruise to New York, and as a passionate boxer.
After running around New York for a little while, Julius stumbles across a payphone and attempts to call the police and let them know about the hockey mask-wearing man-mountain killing everyone. Jason then appears, smashing the glass window and following Julius up on to the roof of a building.
Unlike most horror victims that usually go down running and screaming, Julius actually stands up to Jason and, like the future boxing pro that he is, starts laying into the serial killer with an army's worth of right and left hooks. He eventually wears himself down however, bloodying his fists without doing any damage to Jason, before consigning himself by telling Jason to 'give it his best shot'.
Jason duly obliges, taking a hold of Julius and, with one big swing, knocks the wannabe boxer's head clean off its shoulders. The decapitated head then rolls like a bowling ball down the side of the building, rolling all the way into a nearby rubbish bin with the lid closing as soon as the head lands in it.
Undoubtedly one of the most infamous kills in the franchise, as well as being one of the best black comedy moments in Jason Takes Manhatten, Julius' death is also one of the few times a victim actually stands up and takes on their would-be killer.
