Friday The 13th: 10 Funniest Jason Voorhees Kills

9. Kelly Rowland Goes Flying

The biggest blockbuster hit in both the Nightmare and Friday the 13th franchises, Freddy vs. Jason is a movie with not much in the way of substance but does deliver some solid kills and a cracking showdown between two of the biggest horror icons.

And whilst the movie doesn't have too many successful comedic moments, Kelly Rowland's character Kia and her death near the end of the film is one of the few bright points. Distracting Freddy Krueger with a host of jabs at everything from his 'Christmas jumper' to whether or not his fingerknives are 'compensating' for something else, she is only stopped by the slapstick jester of the Elm Street killer gesturing behind her in true pantomime fashion.

Jason, who has magically appeared behind her, wastes no time slashing her sideways, inexplicably sending her flying at 100mph into a nearby tree.

Freddy vs. Jason is a movie filled with this strange effect of people and objects shooting across the screen but, whilst it looks like a cheap effect of the time across most of its runtime, its usage in Kia's death is at least something that can get a laugh out of the audience.
