Friday The 13th Series: Jason's 10 Best Kills

There's no way we could get through this list without featuring at least one skinny dipper. Crystal Lake exists for one reason, and one reason only; so the pretty young people who come to visit can go swimming in the nude. Such moments have long become a staple of the series - and of course, those who partake in such activity invariably wind up on the end of whatever implement of death Jason happens to favour that season.

The fourth instalment - bearing the somewhat badly chosen title, The Final Chapter - really goes all out on delivering the key elements that Friday fans are after.

To that end, it features not one but two skinny dipping sequences, one a sunlit mass splash party incorporating almost the entire ensemble, and another by moonlight which sees Samantha (Judie Aronson) head out into the lake all on her lonesome.

Always a bad idea; never go anywhere on your own in a horror movie. Or go anywhere with other people. In fact, if you want to survive in a horror movie, you really shouldn't ever go anywhere or do anything whatsoever. And even that probably won't save you.

Anyway - having had a little swim, Samantha takes a rest by lying on her stomach in a rubber raft, crying out the occasional "screw you" to the person she hears nearby, and assumes to be her boyfriend. And of course that assumption proves incorrect, as up comes Jason from under the water, shoving a knife directly up through the bottom of the raft, through Samantha's stomach and all the way out her back.
