7. It's Got A Great Supporting Cast
Aside from ScarJo, there’s a hell of a line-up of talent backing her. Pilou Asbæk may not be a famous face yet – he’s Euron Greyjoy to you and me – but he’s a solid choice for The Major’s partner Batou; at least if Dolph Lundgren was too busy for it.
Even from the brief glimpse in the trailer we already know Takeshi Kitano will be an awesome Aramaki, the head of the Section 9 task force. Juliette Binoche will keep things classy as Dr Ouelet, the designer of The Major's cybernetic shell. If the villain teased at the end of the trailer is to be believed, Ouelet may have some explaining to do about The Major’s past.
Michael Pitt will be on bad guy duties since he does smug creepiness so well. Finally, we have the glorious return of Michael Wincott, who was a bad guy mainstay in the 1990's (The Crow, The Three Musketeers etc).
