A big worry for me in regards to the comic book adaptation of
Ghost Rider was how the CGI would look when
Nicolas Cage turns into "the spirit of vengeance". These worries were deepend when the release date of the movie was pushed back from a mid 2006 release date to an early 2007 one because of production problems. Well I'm no longer dreading the release of this flick, I can now sit back and relax in the knowledge that Ghost Rider looks awesome.
AICN have got the scoop of a behind the scenes clip posted on the
film's blog which shows director
Mark Steven Johnson talking through the visual transformation of Cage into Ghost Rider. And it looks really sweet. I kinda liked the
Daredevil Director's cut that Johnson put out on DVD and felt it was a bit hard done by from 20th Century Fox who cut his running time by about 30 minutes. It's still riddled with problems don't get me wrong but it ain't as bad as people say. It's no
Spider-Man granted but it's no
Fantastic Four or
Elektra either. Click here to see the transformation of Johnny Blaze! Ghost Rider is set to be released in February, and let's hope the whole movie looks as cool as this footage! source -
