Ghostbusters 3: 10 Reasons It's A Terrible Idea

5. It Will Focus On A New Team

Seth Rogen Paul Rudd A lot of the rumours about the story of Ghostbusters 3 involve a new team being trained up to take over from the old guard. The originals will realise the limits of their age and will have to find some new faces to help them take on their greatest ever threat. At the end of the film, after one last hurrah, the old team will hand the reigns over to their younger counter-parts and take their retirement. However, a lot of fans don€™t want to see a new team taking over. They loved the original Ghostbusters films because they loved the characters. If a new team is brought in then we won€™t see as much of the originals, as the film will have to focus on introducing the new team and developing their characters.
