4. It STILL Doesn't Make Sense That They Would Be Forgotten
The biggest problem with Ghostbusters 2 was the gigantic plot-hole that the team had gone from saving New York - and by extension, the world - from Gozer to being completely redundant in the space of a few short years. It was like the citizens had somehow forgotten the most profound thing that would ever happen to anyone with almost casual adandonment and the team were being ridiculed and punished for their insistence on the danger of ghosts.
It feels like that's happening a little here as well. Obviously thirty years is a long time, but is there really ANY chance that the world would forget the irrefutable evidence that ghosts existed? That's the kind of thing that tends to stick with you, no matter how long a time has passed.
While there surely MUST be an explanation for the Ghostbusters being inactive (it's hinted by ghosts not being around, I guess), the idea of them not being heroes passed on to every generation is insanity.
