3. Slimer & Lady Slimer (Adam Ray & Robin Shelby)
Slimer appears only briefly in the movie, shown guzzling down hotdogs before stealing the Ghostbusters' vehicle and driving off into the night during the climactic set-piece.
He's then shown driving the car around New York with a female Slimer in tow, resulting in one of the most hilarious gags in the entire film, as the gang remark that he's having one hell of a night, before the car gets blown up and the Slimers are propelled into the air, still in their seats, Die Hard 2 style.
Slimer is a franchise icon and had the movie trampled on him, there would've been huge fan outrage. As it stands, the film does a fine job continuing his legacy, even if the CGI could probably use a little work. Still, very fun on the whole.
