Ghostbusters Reboot: 29 Easter Eggs, References & In-Jokes

Down in the subway tunnels after Yates, Gilbert and Holtzmann meet Patty they encounter a prisoner ghost garbed out in stereotypical stripy prison uniform and complete with an electric chair head-piece.

The apparition might not have the same Jim Henson-like look, but the glowing eyes, electricity and backstory all seem to point to the fact that he is a floating homage to the notorious Scoleri brothers ghosts from Ghostbusters 2. Albeit a much, much more scary one than the originals.
