Giorgio Serafini Interview: Senior Moment, Working With William Shatner And Christopher Lloyd, More

For those unaware, what's Senior Moment all about?

Serafini: It's a heartfelt, romantic comedy with seniors, but it's really a movie for all ages. It's a comedy and I hope as fun as possible. Just to give you a little bit of the background, the film started because William Shatner wanted to do it. The whole thing then went into this great adventure and shooting in Palm Springs was fantastic. There's so many elements that came together so well in this film.

You've mentioned before that it was originally shot in 2017. What was the holdup in releasing it?

Serafini: There have been quite a few problems in post-production, just the usual. Not problems with the film, just problems with money [laughs]. We had to wait a little bit and finally everything came through thanks to our wonderful producer, Gina Goff. This summer, we were able to finish it and right away Screen Media took it for distribution and we were very happy with the work they did with the film up to now. It's continuing and it's just started.
