3. It's Going To Be Gloriously Meta

In a sea of increasingly familiar superhero movies, Unbreakable remains one of the genre's most fiercely subversive entries ever, and there's every indication here that Glass is going to follow that lead.

The first trailer made it clear the film will revisit the iconic comic book store from Unbreakable, but a telling shot in the second trailer shows someone - probably Dr. Staple, as those hands look very feminine - reading a comic book which is very clearly nodding to the bar-bending sequence from Split.

Hopefully Shyamalan will find a way to address how the superhero genre has changed in the two decades since Unbreakable, especially considering that the first film felt grounded in our own reality, and released shortly before the superhero movie boom. From the evidence here, it seems pretty damn likely.
