Glass Trailer 2 Reactions: 6 Ups & 3 Downs

2. Anya Taylor-Joy's Minimal Presence

We know from the first trailer that Anya Taylor-Joy's Casey Cooke will be reprising her role from Split, apparently being brought into the fold at some point in order to talk Kevin down.

It honestly came off a bit forced, as though Shyamalan felt the arbitrary need to include her just because Split was so successful with her as the female lead.

While it seemed likely that this far longer second trailer would spill more details on her part, surprisingly Casey only appears for a few scattered shots, seeming to suggest that her role's actually going to be mercifully rather small.

Taylor-Joy's a terrific actress no doubt, but in a movie focused on three super-powered men battering one another, does Split's sole survivor really need to be brought into the fray?
