Glass Trailer Reaction: 6 Ups & 2 Downs

4. The Action Looks Gritty & Grounded

If you feel like you've had your fill of CGI-fuelled superhero battles as of late, it looks like Glass just might have you covered. The few glimpses of action the trailer presents seem decidedly more grounded and "realistic" - compared to, say, Avengers: Infinity War, at least - and should allow the film to keep focus on its grittier, more humanistic elements.

After all, a showdown between David Dunn and The Beast really doesn't require flashy effects: just a creative collision of two immensely powerful forces that pushes the PG-13 rating as far as it can.

None of the action in this trailer strikes the wrong note or feels overly goofy: it looks efficient, appropriately savage and, above all else, exciting as hell.
