Glass Trailer Reaction: 6 Ups & 2 Downs

3. "From M. Night Shyamalan"

Glass M Night Shyamalan
Universal

Isn't it wonderful to see the words "from N. Night Shyamalan" on a trailer and not let out a groan or a laugh? Little needs to be said of how Shyamalan tanked his own esteem with audiences following a slew of big-budget disasters, to the extent that studios even stopped placing his name on marketing materials.

Though Split did feature his name prominently in its trailers, there was still scepticism among many that his previous success, found footage film The Visit, was a fluke and Split would be business-as-awful-usual for the director.

Thankfully that clearly wasn't the case, and as such it's decidedly easier to be optimistic about Glass, and to be genuinely excited about Universal once again proudly putting his name front-and-centre with absolute confidence.

Welcome back, M. Night.
