And finally, one of the trailer's closing images shows Madison smiling while standing amid some burned out wreckage, clearly looking up into the air at something. It's not much of a stretch to say she's looking at Mothra, who has probably helped defeat Ghidorah and flown away to safety at this point.

However, the trailer edits the sequence to make it look like Madison is in fact staring up at Godzilla himself, who is then seen letting out an epic roar as a fleet of possibly terrified fighter jets speed past him.

It's a hell of a hype final shot, that much is undeniable.
