4. Streamline The Film Right Down

The biggest issue that runs through the Monsterverse is the way each film is so over-stuffed with different plot-lines and characters. Even Kong: Skull Island, which was mainly set in one location, suffered from this.

Once again, Godzilla Vs. Kong doesn't have a coherent through-line and frequently loses momentum thanks to the way it haphazardly leaps between different groups of characters.

As a result, the film is wildly incoherent. It really should've cut out half of its large cast of characters and focused on one group and one journey; that would've made the film flow so much better.

In order to trim the film down, two huge things could've been jettisoned entirely without harming the overall film...
