Godzilla Vs. Kong: 10 Places The MonsterVerse Could Go Next

1. Mecha-Titans

The biggest revelation from Godzilla vs. Kong, one that has implications for the entire MonsterVerse, is that humans are now able to construct robot versions of the Titans that can take the fight directly to them. And unlike real Titans, they can be rebuilt, perhaps with different specifications. With that in mind, Mechagodzilla could make another comeback.

Asides Mechagodzilla, the Mecha-King Ghidorah teaser from the end of King of the Monsters remains unresolved. Wherever Apex got their Ghidorah skulls, it is unlikely they got them from Alan Jonah. So the eco-terrorist still possesses one of the first ingredients needed to form a mechanised version of monster zero, in what feels like too deliberate a set-up to ignore.

Asides them, the "mechanised giant" Monarch were working on at the end of the 2019 film (not that we know it's not Mechagodzilla) could feasibly be Moguera.

Moguera is a giant robot previously seen in Toho's Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla in 1994. With drill weaponry and a plasma cannon, his weaponry is comparable to that of Mechagodzilla. Whichever Mecha-Titan may make an appearance, there is seemingly enough here to keep the MonsterVerse going for the near future. It remains to be seen if Warner Bros. agree.
