9. The Titan Ensemble
Countless Titans were introduced in King of the Monsters, but in Godzilla vs. Kong they are noticeably absent. They have all simply been labelled as 'defeated' by Monarch, and never heard from again, despite the fact that we know at least some of them were headed for Skull Island.
The simplest explanation for this is that there was simply no room for them to feature during the headline bout of Kong and Godzilla. Whatever the reason, they are all still there, either above ground or below it. So any future MonsterVerse entries wouldn't get away with ignoring them all a second time around.
Godzilla vs. Kong also introduced its own new Titans in the form of the Warbat, giant winged snakes that attack Kong and the Apex mission team when they arrive in the Hollow Earth.
You can hardly claim there aren't plenty of monsters to choose from. It's just a case of how they will fit in to any future Godzilla or Kong storylines, if at all. None of them are likely to steal the limelight, but the mythology surrounding the ever-more detailed MonsterVerse world will only be enhanced with more Titans given more screen time in future movies.
