18. Everything About Bernie
Easily one of the most divisive new characters is Bernie Hayes (Brian Tyree Henry), a former Apex Cybernetics employee who hosts a conspiracy theory podcast focused on the Titan mythology.
Bernie is pretty much a one-note crackpot joke of a character, and a running gag throughout the film is to reference the various nutso theories he subscribes to.
These include washing himself with gallons of bleach to get rid of "spy dust," that fluoridated water was a scheme cooked up by the Nazis to drug the masses, and that the Illuminati are building a "shadowy economy" to protect the elite in the event of a doomsday scenario.
He's a total mixed bag of a character, but at least an amusing weirdo to a point.
