14. Kong Gets Flown To Antarctica
After the effort to transport Kong by sea doesn't work, Apex decides instead to airlift him to Antarctica where an entry point will allow him and the team to reach Hollow Earth.
What follows is a frankly ridiculous sequence where around 20 choppers are shown flying Kong - who is sedated in a net, suspended by ultra-tensile tow cables - through the air.
Considering Kong's astronomical weight, you basically just have to hand-wave the absurdity of this visual, but thankfully's the movie is self-aware enough about its general ridiculousness that it doesn't prove bothersome.
Given how many times we've seen Kong being transported via water, though, it's neat to see a different mode of transport in action.
