Golden Raspberry Awards 2015: Predicting The "Winners" In Each Category

5. Worst Director - Michael Bay For Transformers: Age Of Extinction

Also nominated: Darren Doane (Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas), Renny Harlin (The Legend Of Hercules), Jonathan Liebesman (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), Seth MacFarlane (A Million Ways To Die In The West) There's a pretty good chance that this year's worst director award could go to Jonathan Liebesman for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - after all, it is a cacophany of a mess and features that inexplicable scene (one from many) in which Megan Fox is followed by a "live" cameraman, only for the next shot to reveal that no such cameraman exists. Still, Liebesman doesn't deserve it any more than the producer calling the shots on his film - that producer is of course Michael Bay and his fingerprints are all over Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Bay himself is more deserving of the award for Transformers: Age Of Extinction, which proved once and for all that he really couldn't care less about his detractors and appears to have gone out of his way to make the latest franchise instalment even more visually incoherent than the rest.
