Green Lantern 2020: 10 Actors Would Could Play Hal Jordan

2. Chris Pine

Chris Pine has been mentioned on many lists on the internet as a possible new Hal Jordan, and for good reason. He has the looks and screen presence needed for an actor that will have to star in his own movie and share the screen with Batman and Superman. His turn as Captain Kirk in the new Star Trek movies has saved an otherwise rudderless franchise and returned it to its previous glory (just what Green Lantern needs). While he will be starring in new Star Trek films for as long as Paramount is willing to make them, he should still be available in 2019 (when filming will take place). Captain James Kirk playing the new Green Lantern would be an easy sell and would draw fans and millions of dollars to the box office and would also save Pine from being pigeon-holed in his acting career by being successful outside of Star Trek.
