Orlando Bloom is a bona-fide movie star, responsible for bringing in billions of dollars in revenue for the movie studios that he works for. And it's hard to believe that his inclusion in DC Cinematic Universe as Hal Jordan would produce a different result. Bloom was able to take a character that could have been nothing more than a glorified side-kick (Will Turner) and made him a likeable and very capable part of the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise (which he is returning to after a failed movie that didn't include him). Having also played one of the most popular roles in The Middle-Earth franchise, Orlando Bloom has the fans and the box office mojo to make a Green Lantern franchise a sure bet.
