6. The Corps Will Probably Be Introduced Already...
DC could reduce the need for laborious explanations in Green Lantern Corps by introducing the mythos in an earlier movie. Charles Roven, one of the producers overseeing the DCEU, revealed last year that this is already being discussed.
Roven told Entertainment Weekly, "there’s the possibility that he [one of the Green Lanterns, presumably Hal Jordan] may or may not be in Justice League 2" or "barring that, a movie after." So moviegoers will know a few things about the Green Lantern Corps before its movie comes out.
Of course, this technique has already been popular in the DCEU. After stuffing Easter Eggs of all sorts into Man Of Steel, the powers-that-be lobbed Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash and Cyborg into Batman V Superman. It remains to be see whether the Green Lantern tease in Justice League 2 (or whatever movie it ends up in) will be a blink-and-you-miss-it cameo like some of the others or an important part of the film.
