2. The Ring Constructs
Every Green Lantern can create through his power ring anything his mind can imagine. The Green Lantern film really appeared to take this pillar of the Lantern mythology to heart, as it appears to have invested a ton of money in the special effects used to create the movie's various constructs. From the initial ring construct during the bar scene that featured the classic giant fist, to the raceway at the Ferris Air event, and on to the grand finale against The Parallax, Hal's constructs were things of awesomeness. And they should have been. The Green Lantern universe is largely predicated on the various amazing creations the rings can make, and how successful the ring bearer can be at maintaining the constructs as long as need be. The film did a great job running the gamut of various items Hal could create, and it was one of the few things the producers of the film did rather well.
