The Ant-Man movie is going ahead without Edgar Wright at the helm, and veteran actor Michael Douglas is scheduled to play Pym, the inventor of the Ant-Man shrinking formula. Now, if we were part of Kevin Feiges sinister Marvel creative cabal (and if we were and we told you, wed have to kill you), wed have included some form of significant cameo or reference leading into the next Marvel movie. Were not sure how it would take place. Perhaps Pym based the invention of the formula on some Kree secret weapon. Maybe a flashback sees him acquainted with Peter Quills parents, or Drax prior to his being transformed into the Destroyer. One things is for certain. The star of Romancing The Stone still has a twinkle in his eye, even at the age of 69. A brisk cameo in a swashbuckler like Guardians Of The Galaxy isnt beyond him hey, we think hed fit right in.
