Guardians Of The Galaxy: 10 Potential Roles For Nathan Fillion
5. Bug
Another member of the Guardians of the Galaxy that failed to make it into the film (as far as we know) is the hilarious Bug, who has been a member of a couple iterations of the team. Bug is a master thief, adventurer, jokester, womanizer, and all around interesting addition to the team. He's an insectivorid who was born on the planet Kaliklakian, which resides in the Microverse. Yes, Bug is another denizen of the Microverse who spent a lot of time full-sized and bouncing around the universe with the Guardians. However, when he is in the Microverse he can usually be found with Arcturus Rann and Enigma Force. Fillion's natural humor would fit well with Bug's personality, and Bug would make for an excellent addition to the team. Obviously Chris Pratt is the lead funny man in Guardians of the Galaxy, so Bug's unique style and Fillion's sarcastic wit wouldn't need to be center stage to work well. Bug's appearance in the after-credits scene would probably only serve as either a funny moment to close the film or be used to set up a possible Guardians of the Galaxy sequel, which as we've previously discussed could feature a number of cosmic wars that would work well on the big screen.
