Marvel StudiosThe two characters being hyped the most in the wake of this movie are Rocket Raccoon (who will be be voiced by Bradley Cooper, who also provided some facial movement for the character) and Groot (who will be voiced by Vin Diesel). The reason they are being so widely hyped is simple - they're different. A talking raccoon mercenary and his walking tree bodyguard are so far removed from the Tony Starks and Nick Furys of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that we can't wait to see how something so different will work in the franchise. Marvel have acknowledged the hype and given Rocket his own comic - in which Groot also appears - so it certainly appears as if they know what they're doing and they haven't really put a foot drastically wrong yet. These two could end up being incredibly popular or universally despised - it really is on that much of a knife edge as things stand. One thing's for sure - if they're popular, the merchandise sales will be as out of this world as the characters themselves (and we really, really can't wait to see them potentially interacting with the likes of Tony Stark in the future).
