Guardians Of The Galaxy: 15 Obscure Easter Eggs You Probably Missed

1. "No Raccoons Or Tree Creatures Were Harmed In The Making Of This Film"

A very cute little Easter egg, which those of you who stayed to watch the post-credits scene of Guardians of the Galaxy might have noticed, was a funny note amongst the rolling credit text that stated "No raccoons or tree creatures were harmed in the making of this film". This, of course, is a charming reference to the fact that Rocket and Groot are a raccoon and a tree creature respectively and, although 99% of us are well aware of the fact that they're fictional characters produced using CGI, it might have put the minds of any children at ease if the two characters had endeared themselves to them during the course of the movie (which, let's be honest, they probably had). So there you have it - fifteen Easter eggs and references you may have missed in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. Did you enjoy this article?
