2. Moondragon - Noomi Rapace

One of the more provocative and challenging characters in Guardians of the Galaxy, Moondragon is a badass telepath, possessing a hilarious superiority complex towards most all others, and most notably, having a shaved head. Though initially painted as something of an irritation, Moondragon's character is one of the more complicated and nuanced that the property has to offer; upon joining the Guardians, she is a valuable member of the telepathic unit, though also proves dangerous when she opens herself up to manipulation by Starhawk. Portraying the complexity of her character requires an actress used to be playing challengingly cerebral characters, and there's one actress who is definitely up for the task - Noomi Rapace. Rapace definitely isn't averse to science-fiction, going by her starring in Ridley Scott's Prometheus, but more importantly, she's best-known for playing Lisbeth Salander in the Swedish Millennium Trilogy, a complex, emotionally challenging character who is perfectly analogous to Moondragon. As Rapace has already proven she can play strong, beleaguered women extremely well, there's no reason she wouldn't be able to pull off Moondragon, as long as she's willing to shave her head...
