Guardians Of The Galaxy 2: 12 New Details James Gunn Just Revealed

Given the way the narrative is left at the end of Guardians Of The Galaxy - with the recovered Infinity Stone locked away on Xandar - and the impending threat of Thanos turning up to reclaim it for his Gauntlet, it seemed inevitable that some of the Nova forces would appear.

Now we have the first real confirmation that Glenn Close will be back as Nova Prime, despite Gunn notoriously not being a massive fan of Nova:

Gunn didn't answer whether John C Reilly would be back, but it seems inevitable, given that he survived the battle. Unless he's just an expendable leadership figure who doesn't really need any narrative reason for being left out. The director has previously said he won't be back, so maybe take that as unwritten confirmation.
