Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2: Predicting Who Every New Cast Member Will Play

2. Chris Sullivan As Terrax

Chris Sullivan is another name that might not ring any bells, but fans of the Cinemax show, The Knick, likely know him as the imposing and ambitious ambulance driver Tom Cleary. Aside from that memorable role, Sullivan has appeared in the critically-acclaimed TV movie The Normal Heart, and the Tom Hardy crime-drama The Drop. He'll be seen next year alongside fellow Vol. 2 star Zoe Saldana in Ben Affleck's Live by Night. Sullivan is not just an actor, but an established musician as well thanks to his folk band, Sully and the Benevolent Folk, which offers a mix of blues, rock and country. Although music was a big part of the first Guardians movie, it's unlikely Sullivan's music talents will be used in the sequel. Something Gunn is likely to take advantage of is Sullivan's impressive stature. It's safe to assume he'll play a rather large and powerful character, and likely a baddie who could go toe-to-toe with Drax. So, if we're looking for a villainous beast of a character, a good guess would be Terrax. Terrax is most known for his affiliation with the Fantastic Four and Galactus, but he's been tangled up with numerous characters in the Marvel universe. If he were to appear, they would probably use his past life as a cruel, power-hungry dictator of the world of Lanlak, where he ruled thanks to his ability to manipulate the earth and his Cosmic Axe. Seeing as Sullivan brought depth to his goon-like character on The Knick, hopefully he can make for a well-rounded villain - something the MCU sorely needs.
