A Guardians movie wouldn't be a Guardians movie without some killer needle-drops, and though Vol. 3 absolutely delivers on that front - though we won't spoil the best bangers here - Gunn also eventually ends up going somewhat overboard with his music selections.

Barely more than a scene or two goes by without yet another classic rock song being dumped in our laps while something cool is happening, and some choices are less inspired than others.
