5. The Ensemble Cast NAILS It

With Vol. 3 being hyped up as the last time we'll see the ensemble cast of the Guardians movies together, they absolutely made the most of the opportunity.

While the writing isn't always the strongest, it's clear that the cast love playing these characters - yes, even Dave Bautista, who has talked extensively about his desire to hang up the part - and commit hard to the material.

Chris Pratt gets some of his strongest dramatic scenes as Star-Lord in this movie, while Gamora (Zoe SaldaƱa) brings flavour to the variant version of Gamora, and Karen Gillan is a sure standout as Nebula.

Also worth singling out among the wider cast are Maria Bakalova, who is perfect as the adorable Cosmo the Spacedog, and Linda Cardellini, who voices Rocket's otter love interest Lylla in flashbacks.

Nobody's half-assing their roles here, and it counts for a lot.
