Guardians Of The Galaxy Volume 2: 7 Things We Learnt From The Sizzle Reel

Well, not literally - though that would be the greatest crossover in cinematic history.

Photo's were doing the round early in Volume 2's production of Sylvester Stallone leaving a hotel room with a script and issues of the comic in tow. James Gunn was very coy when asked about Stallone's potential involvement prior to Comic Con, but with this sizzle reel we finally got confirmation that he most certainly is in the film.

It's a blink and you'll miss it shot of him talking to Rooker's Yondu, but it's excellent to see an iconic actor of the 80's in a film that is as much a tribute to that decade as it is a space opera. Rumour is he's a Ravager but Gunn isn't budging:

"This was an amazing experience for me, considering I ran around in my backyard as a kid pretending I was Johnny Rambo. Working with Sly was one of the high points of shooting Vol. 2 for me.Who does he play? Well, I can’t reveal that quite yet… but we do see him interacting with Yondu in the teaser."

It's a secret for now...
