6. Julian's Return
Child actor Jibrail Nantambu wound up being Halloween 2018's most effective secret weapon.
Though he was only in the film for a matter of minutes, Nantambu's performance as Julian was a scene-stealer that had audiences across the globe cracking up as he injected some surprisingly effective humor into the film. His chemistry with Virginia Gardner's Vicky and Miles Robbins' Dave was palpable and his delivery was pitch perfect.
Director David Gordon Green has since revealed that the entirety of Julian's character is thanks to Nantambu himself, who was given free reign to improv on the set and wound up delivering the lines that made it into the final film.
Considering that Julian escaped Michael's wrath in this film, it would be truly great to see Nantambu make a return in any capacity in the sequel. The young actor's only credits to date are Halloween 2018 and a brief appearance on Preacher, but judging by the success of his performance, his resume is about to get a lot more crowded. It would be foolish for the next Halloween film to not capitalize on this success, even if that means only having him return for another out-of-the-blue cameo.
