Halloween Horror Nights 2022 Houses Hype List Ranked!

9. The Horrors Of Blumhouse

Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Nights
Universal Orlando Resort

The House:

The Horrors of Blumhouse has returned to Universal Orlando Resort with a new double feature. The Black Phone and Freaky are the stars of the 2022 maze. Freaky sees "The Butcher" trade places with teenage girl Millie Kessler due to a cursed Aztec dagger. Will you become "The Butcher's" next victim?

If a slasher wasn't enough you also have "The Grabber" to contend with. "The Grabber" is a magician with his big trick making people disappear. Will you make it out of his "fun house" with the whispers from "The Black Phone" or will you be a part of the final act?

The Hype:

These are two good properties with strong storylines.

A slasher like "The Butcher" is always a great addition to a Halloween Horror Nights maze and give that classic scare. It'll be good to have Freaky's twist on the genre.

The Black Phone provides "The Grabber", an unsettling villain and a big presence. It'll be interesting to see how The Black Phone part of the maze is done, given that a large part of the film is mostly in one room. The Black Phone provides a mix of horror and supernatural that often is a great combination at HHN.

The only reason this ranks so low on the hype list is because generally houses with two properties can leave you wishing that each one had their own maze.

Though there are always exceptions and we have a feeling this will be one of them.
