9. An Unconventional Use of a Car Door
Michael certainly gets creative with his means of destruction in this film, and we're treated to everything from simple butcher knife kills, to eye-gouging and even a lighting tube for good measure.
No kill however stands out more than the frankly ridiculous, yet unbelievably hilarious, car door murder.
Upon hearing the news of Michael's return, Marion, Lyndsey, Vanessa, and Marcus take to the streets to find Michael. Upon finding him, Michael makes a swift attack on their car, and Marion and Marcus are quickly dispatched via some very nasty stabbings. Angered by the loss of her husband, Vanessa pulls out a gun and begins wildly firing at Michael whilst approaching the car, although her aim is less than perfect.
As she draws close, Michael kicks the car door into her, which sends the gun hurtling towards her face, where it goes off, effectively blowing her brains out and landing a very easy kill for Michael.
This one definitely produced more laughs than in the cinema than gasps of horror, but it's such a genuinely surprising and unintentionally hilarious moment that it'll no doubt go down as one of the film's most memorable scenes.
