Halloween Kills Ending Explained - What's Next For Michael Myers?

4. Get Ready For A Time Jump

Halloween Kills Michael Myers
Universal

In terms of what's immediately next for Michael Myers after Halloween Kills, we'll be taken on an initial four-year time jump when Halloween Ends is released in October 2022.

There'll clearly be plenty of blanks to fill in with Ends taking this approach, and moving forward four years will only throw up more questions than answers initially. Given how Kills made brilliant use of some flashbacks, it seems only logical to expect more flashbacks to establish what went on between Kills and Ends.

The topic of Karen's death is obviously one major factor in changing the Haddonfield landscape, but one also has to ask what will become of Karen's daughter Allyson?

Once Michael murdered Karen, did he just quietly slip off into the shadows? Surely whoever found the dead body is likely to have ran into The Shape, and we've now well and truly seen how anyone being in his house is immediately in the crosshairs of Myers.

As for Allyson, the last time we saw her, she was incapacitated with a broken leg, meaning she's basically a sitting duck by this point. Will she, too, have been offed by Halloween Ends? Or will she be at her grandmother's side, fuelled by the death of Karen to embark on a laser-focussed mission to bring an end to Michael Myers?
