She is now the headmistress of an exclusive boarding school and has a son, Josh- though the events of that Halloween 20 years ago has greatly impacted her parenting capabilities. After much debating about sending Josh to a planned camp for the Halloween holidays, she reluctantly decides to let him go and experience some freedom. He has other plans however involving his own Halloween party on campus with his girlfriend, Molly, his best friend Charlie and his girlfriend Sarah. Charlie goes to retrieve a corkscrew to open a bottle of wine but is offed by Michael. Sarah is waiting on the next floor down and grows impatient and starts looking for him. She finds his body and is then attacked by Michael. She gets into the dumbwaiter to escape but as she is climbing out, Michael cuts the rope, causing it to crash onto her leg, partly severing it. Michael then catchs up with her, kills her and strings her up in the pantry.
