Han Solo Movie: 5 Reasons To Be Excited (And 5 To Be Worried)

4. The Acting Coach Talk

Hail Caesar Ralph Fiennes Alden Ehrenreich
Universal Pictures

Around the same time Lucasfilm were firing Lord and Miller and hiring Ron Howard, reports claimed that the studio had been forced to hire an acting coach for its star Alden Ehrenreich.

It's not completely unprecedented, and it may well have been directly tied to the directing style of Lord and Miller, but it's not exactly a positive sign either. Ehrenreich is untested as a leading man, and Harrison Ford has huge boots to fill. While he had that nice blend of charming and goofy in Hail, Caesar! it remains to be seen exactly what he's brought to Solo, and such reports to dampen enthusiasm a little for his take on one of cinema's most beloved characters.
