Harry Potter: 10 Best Characters Introduced After The Philosopher's Stone
4. Luna Lovegood
Although Luna was only introduced in The Order of the Phoenix, she became one of the most popular students in Hogwarts. It's relatively easy to see why, as she finally delivered on a mainstay Ravenclaw character, was a helpful presence for the lead characters and delivered on that quirky goodness that fans of the HP series love.
The Lovegood daughter arrived in Hogwarts as a young student and eventually joined Dumbledore's Army. But, she was more than simple number padding as her connection to death meant she could bond with Harry on a level not many people could, leading to some lovely moments between the two.
Additionally, she was simply fun to be around. The quirky performance from the debuting Evanna Lynch gave her an easily relatable personality, and plenty of fans found themselves identifying with her right away thanks to her self-confidence and willingness to be herself.
The character found a very easy place in Hogwarts and fit like a glove.
