2. Sirius Black
It's pretty easy to say that Harry was in some dire need of parental figures in his life. The loss of his birth parents was a major piece of trauma for him, and while Dumbledore was a great substitute figure, he also had ulterior motives. So, Sirius came right in the nick of time, even if it didn't seem that way at first.
Again, we've got Prisoner of Azkaban to thank for this one, as Black was the titular escapee who came to find Harry. At first, his time in the movie seemed to be antagonistic, as the mystery behind his escape and mission to find his godson seemed filled with malice. Thankfully, we learned that wasn't the case, and he ended up saving Harry's life.
From there, he became a loving support system for Harry, proving to be an excellent choice for his godfather. Plus, while he didn't get a chance to participate in the Battle of Hogwarts - thanks to his untimely death - he still played a vital role in the fight against Voldemort.
