Harry Potter: 10 Characters (That Weren't Ron) Hermione Should Have Ended Up With

We know that Hermione is attracted to those not as intelligent as her. You only need to look at Ron Weasley and Viktor Krum to prove that. So why not match her up with the little scamp Seamus Finnigan? His Irish charm will at least make her laugh, right?

Seamus also has a similar background to Hermione. He was born to a mixed family so he has some experience of living in the muggle world. This would undoubtedly give him and Hermione something to talk about and would be a nice way for Hermione to remember her muggle roots.

However, as mentioned above, Seamus can be a little reckless when it comes to his learning. He tends to act before he thinks which has resulted in numerous accidents with explosives and blowing his head off. This could either be a huge turn off for Hermione or it could be just the thing that she is looking for.

Sure, Ron can be a laugh but he also has an emotional mean streak that can be pretty hurtful at times something that Seamus thankfully doesn't have.
