Harry Potter: 10 Characters (That Weren't Ron) Hermione Should Have Ended Up With

Hermione Granger and Percy Weasley were pretty good pals in the books. They were often caught chatting about spells and potions and would enjoy talking about school and the beauty of education. This didn't come across on screen which was a shame because it was nice to see their friendship develop. Plus, it normalized Percy somewhat, something that we didn't see in the movies.

If you think about it, Percy is the man that Ron could have been or who Hermione wanted Ron to become. Percy is stiff, straight-laced, hardworking, and extremely intelligent. He likes to follow rules, which are demonstrated through his head boy status, and he likes to berate those who break them. Remind you of anyone?

The two are also extremely ambitious so it's likely that they would feed off each other's determination and end up becoming one of those fearing power couples that end up super-rich and influential. In fact, Percy's lifetime goal was to be the Minister of Magic, something that we could see Hermione also achieving. Who knows? Maybe they could have done it together?
