Harry Potter: 10 Movie Scenes That Are Completely Different In The Books

4. Dumbledore's Got Style (The Order Of The Phoenix)

Goblet Of Fire Angry Dumbledore
Warner Bros.

In The Book: Dumbledore takes out everyone in the room, including Cornelius Fudge, Umbridge, Percy Weasley, Kingsley Shacklebolt and auror Dawlish, and has a chance to speak with Harry before making his escape on foot.

In The Film: Dumbledore flees from the Minister in a blaze of fire as he grabs hold of Fawkes and disapparates.

Summary: Both versions are great, and there is a strong argument to be made that Kingsley's delivery of the line 'Dumbledore's got style' is better than the way the portrait of Phineus Nigellus says it in the book, but Dumbledore flooring some of the best wizards at the Ministry, including Kingsley so as not to blow his cover, is one of the best moments in all of the books.
