Harry Potter: 10 Ways The Muggle World Would Inevitably Discover Wizards

6. Invisibility Cloaks And Spells

Harry€™s inherited Invisibility Cloak is big enough to conceal him and two others (depending on their size). There are also Disillusionment Charms, which render the wizard in question invisible (or at least transparent). Very useful for the wizard who does not wish to be seen. What then stops thieves like Mundungus Fletcher from going into Muggle shops or banks and robbing them blind? Even if the alarms go off, or security cameras catch the disappearance of objects, how can the perpetrators be identified? The wizarding world doesn€™t appear to be too well protected against these kinds of intrusions, either. Harry has gotten into several protected areas (Gringotts, Hogsmeade, the Restricted Section of the library, etc.) while wearing the Cloak. Harry doesn€™t steal anything (except Neville Longbottom€™s lollipop and Hufflepuff€™s cup), but there are wizards who don€™t have that moral distinction.
