As the founder of Ravenclaw House, Rowena valued intelligence and creativity above all else. It’s hardly surprising, therefore, that Luna Lovegood, Filius Flitwick, and Garrick Ollivander were all members of her house.

And in many ways, Rowena was the most important Hogwarts founder. Not only did she choose the name and the location of the famous magic school, but she was also responsible for the moving staircases.

What’s more, she created a diadem (which Voldemort later transformed into a Horcrux) with extraordinary power. The diadem essentially enhanced the intelligence of anyone who wore it, but the specifics of this power are never explored in any detail.

It’s just a shame there wasn’t more information given about Rowena Ravenclaw because she was undoubtedly a fascinating witch with an abundance of wisdom and creativity.
