Harry Potter: 12 Wands That Perfectly Reflect Their Owners

10. Parvati Patil

Bellatrix Lestrange Wand
Warner Bros.

Parvati's wand is never clearly seen on screen. However, by the time it came to be designed, the filmmakers were dab hands at creating props that bestowed character and, as the series went on, they seemed to seek out opportunities to make something new and special.

While minority cultures and religions seem well-blended into life at Hogwarts despite the traditional English food and historic boarding school concepts, Parvati and her twin Padma do stand out as an exotic part of the student cohort at everyone's favourite wizarding school. Reflecting this, Parvati's wand comes with a unique dragon wing design that somehow, despite its intricacy, fits beautifully into the user's hand.

If you ever get an opportunity to physically pick up a replica at the Warner Bros Studio Tour, any of the Universal theme parks or worldwide touring exhibitions, take a moment to feel this wand in your hand. It looks uncomfortable and just too elaborate, but the projections of the 'wing' really do fit beautifully between the folds of the average adult hand. Quite an achievement!
