Harry Potter: 12 Wands That Perfectly Reflect Their Owners
9. Arthur Weasley
Arthur Weasley is the father of seven children, one of Harry Potter's several surrogate father figures, and a rabid fan of Muggle life. He's interested in electricity and gadgets, but also the entire concept of living without magic. He owns The Burrow and its surrounding land, including rough stone outbuildings and a few farm animals.
Somehow, his wand design reflects each of these aspects of his character.
Like all of the Weasley wands (bar Ginny's - and, as a freebie fact, hers seems to be different from the rest just as she is the only daughter in the clan) it's rather rough-hewn. But beyond this family-wide characteristic simplicity, the screwdriver-like design of the handle seems to perfectly mirror a traditional Muggle tool.
His wand, while rough like the others in his family, illustrates a magical equivalent to many of the tools you might see in your grandad's shed. It looks traditional, rural, useful and every bit the commonly used companion to everyday life. Which, for him, it is.
